Thanks for all the concern everyone. To be honest, it triggered my PTSD and I had a moment before the honeymoon when I was upset and crying all the time but luckily I moved up my therapist appointment for next week and my pill doctor for next week as well. I really just need to talk to my therapist and all that to make myself feel better. It’s better now but I know that it still bugs me and whatnot, and also I had persistent Bronchitis, so I ended up taking a second round of different antibiotics and I can say that I’m feeling better.

But yeah, what I really wanted to say is that I’m back from my honeymoon and boy did I have a blast. The place we ended up going was Addison, Texas but our hotel was on the northern side of Dallas but the hotel was situated perfectly and we could go to places quite easily.

First is first, the main reason why we came to Addison was to see the fireworks at the local Kaboom Town and though we stayed all day, we did manage to see them except not at the park because I was worried about traffic and crowds all around but the fireworks were amazing. Probably the best I’ve seen. There was more stuff to the event like an airshow by the air museum and live music and boy was that live music awesome.I admit it, I danced a little bit and the only thing I got from it all was a little sunburn on my shoulder. I thought it was a lot worse but I was wrong and happily wrong. It could of been worse with me outside from 1pm-8pm but it wasn’t. I took enough precautions and I’m happy.

Our hotel was the Hyatt Place and boy was it amazing and beautiful inside. We made sure to get free breakfast and free wifi there which was already complementary with the price we paid for the hotel. Still, I would rank the hotel as our favorite because everything was perfect there and there was no issues.

We were on the 2nd floor and had room 210 to ourselves which was spacious and beautiful. Don’t worry, I wrote a review for the place after I came home so my thoughts wouldn’t be lost along with my opinion about the place. I think I like writing reviews. Hehehe So basically we walked a lot on the first day in Addison but the second day would prove to be more and by more meaning we went to the Galleria(a mall) in Dallas and we even got some new shirts from Hot Topic and I got a new dress from H&M. The Galleria was gorgeous and huge with so many name brand stores but luckily we got bought everything on sale.

Still, it was all good exercise and let us explore the Dallas. But I do have to mention that when we were driving to Dallas there was a lot of construction and it was annoying.

Blah to construction.

Then we decided to eat at the Magic Time Machine in Addison and even though it had mixed reviews, I wanted to try it out. The reviews were dead wrong because the place was decorated pretty cool with different themes on each table and booth. We got the candlelit dinner them for ourselves. All romantic like. The food was delicious and I even had a piece of cheesecake for dessert which was top with strawberries. Our waiter was in character as the Riddler (because each waiter was a character) and our magician even performed tricks for us with cards at our table.

So I recommend going to it once if you’re in Addison, Texas.

Then the last day was spent sleeping and watching movies (Megamind)(because we don’t have cable in our apartment, only netflix)together. It was sad to leave but we missed home very much and there was no problem going home. All in all I had a great honeymoon with my husband.

Texas! I’d love to go there once in my life!! It seems you had fun there in Texas on your honeymoon.

I’m glad to hear you enjoyed your honeymoon. We made the mistake of going down into the park where we always watch fireworks…my word it was so crowded we ended up sitting up on the hill away from the park to watch. I really want to go to the Magic Time Machine to eat…but that’s a long trip just to go some where to eat. haha.

I’m happy you had a great time on your honeymoon despite your illnesses! I went to a counselor thinking I would need one, and honestly I really don’t need one. My boyfriend is some what my counselor. I had recently seen my psychiatrist as well, only to get some paperwork signed which I was in fear he would not sign them. But he did. I’m sorry to hear about your illnesses, try to eat more vegetables especially the greens! But I’m glad you’re feeling better!

Wooo, honeymoon! 😀 I’ve never been to Texas but it seems like there is a lot to do there. It sounds like you had a lot of fun! Ha, I hardly ever write reviews. I always mean to and want to help others when they’re looking at a product/experience, but I always forget or I don’t know how to put what I think into words sometimes (how ironic).

Wow that sounds like a wonderful honeymoon! I’m so glad you had a great time and I hope you feel tons better! I will definitely have to the Magic Time Machine on my list of restaurants to go to =) It looks and sounds amazing!I hope the food was good as well since I would also like to have a good meal =)
I love reading reviews because it usually gives me a good idea on where to go, however I always want to see it for myself. I’m glad your hotel was nice! I’ve heard horror stories about hotels and I’ve also had some bad experiences myself.
Have a great week!

Glad you had a wonderful honeymoon despite all the stress prior to that. It’s supposed to be an enjoyable time, and you made the most of it – a very promising development, if I must say so myself. Is Addison like a nearby suburb of Dallas? I’ve never heard of the place before. :/

I seemed to miss the one you wrote about your honeymoon so I’ll comment here! I think it’s nice you didn’t have one of those crazy honeymoons in Greece or Guam or something.

Oh the hotel does look beautiful! That’s great you had such a great time and the magic time machine sounds so interesting for a restaurant. Congrats again on your marriage!

That’s horrible, I feel terrible for your cousin to get choked by a relative.
